4th June 2006 - What now for the Royals?
It is the end of an era for Church Stretton Royals.
After 3 years playing small sided soccer, they now progress to
11-a-side football for the season 2006-07. The team will have the
additional task of learning the offside rule, which comes into play
this coming season.
The forthcoming season is sure to be a hard one as
the team will be playing against teams who are a year older than
themselves, such is the structure of the South Shropshire Junior
Football League.
Royals have the nucleus of a good 11-a-side squad
and will be looking to strengthen it in the close season.
