25th February 2007 - Royals 3-0 Red Rovers
Royals showed no lack of practice or match fitness
as they comfortably defeated Red Rovers by 3 goals to 0 today at
Russell's Meadow. A hat trick by substitute Bourne made sure of the
result. Red Rovers came to physically outplay the Royals but the
superior fitness and skill paid off in the Royals favour.
Royals stay 2 points clear at the top of the table
tonight, whatever the outcome of the other results.

21st February 2007 - Red Rovers match review
Royals take on red Rovers this weekend in their
first game for 3 weeks. Their last game, which seems a long time ago
was the creditable 1-1 draw with Onny eagles at the end of January.
Red Rovers come to the match straight from a superb
win over Presteigne North in the quarter finals of the cup, whom
they defeated by two goals to one, and are thought to be back to
full strength for the forthcoming game.
The games takes place at Russell's Meadow with a
10:30am kick off.
21st February 2007 - Training re-commences on
Thursday
Training re-commences on Thursday evening from 6-7pm
at the school tennis courts. Almost 3 weeks have elapsed since the
squad last trained due to inclement weather and half-term.
19th February 2007 - Royals players give good
account against Hereford
Seven Royals players represented for the Stoke City
Development Centre on Friday night against the Hereford School of
Excellence. Although the results went against Stoke, 0-1 and 0-3,
both matches were actually close games.
It was the first time that many of the Royals team
had played in a competitive match with their Meole Brace
counterparts but they showed no signs of not having played together
before.
All players came through without injury and although
Royals have not had a game for nearly 3 weeks, fitness was not a
problem.
14th February 2006 - Royals have Wikipedia entry
The Royals now have
their own entry in the Wikipedia online encyclopedia. Wikipedia is a
multilingual, web-based, free content encyclopedia project which was
launched in 2001. The Royals entry can be found

12th February 2006 - Royals players selected to
play for Stoke City
Although the Royals have not played a competitive
game for 2 weeks, some of the squad will however get some match
practice. Michael Brayne, Rory Smith, Harvey Carless-Turland, Tom
Lewis, Craig Keugler, Sam Green and Luke Miles have all been
selected to represent Stoke City when they play Hereford on Friday
night.
12th February 2007 - No training during half term
week
There will be no training this week as it is half
term week.
9th February 2007 - Onny Plus friendly called off
The game on Sunday against Onny Plus has been called
off due to the adverse weather conditions.
8th February 2006 - Training cancelled tonight
There is no training tonight for the Royals due to
the inclement weather.
8th February 2007 - Royals keen for Onny friendly
to go ahead.
Royals will be hoping that this weekend's friendly
fixture against Onny Plus will go ahead, despite the weather. With
several players coming back from illness, the match would be a
welcome workout for them to re-gain fitness, prior to the
second half of the season's "run in" It would also be an opportunity
for the reserves to get some match practice.
Brayne, Groom, Smith and Agnew have all missed training through
illness but have all now recovered.
The match is due to be played at the Burway, Ludlow
on Sunday with a 11am kick off.
If the match does go ahead
Royals will be playing in red.

5th February 2007 - Weekend results roundup
Only one match took place in division 1 this
weekend, between Onny Eagles and Red Rovers, where the Eagles came
away 11-1 winners. This means that the gap at the top of division 1
is now down to 2 points, with both the Royals and Onny having played
4 games.
4th February 2007 - Free weekend suits Royals
Royals postponed match against Ludlow benefited them
in the end. Four first team players are suffering from a virus and
the time off will aid their recovery. Groom, Brayne, Smith and Agnew
are all on the sick list, although at different stages of recovery.
With a friendly against Onny Plus arranged for next weekend, it is
hoped that all four will be back to something near full fitness.
