30th July 2007 - Pre-Season training

Royals group up again for the first time since May to commence their pre-season training. Training begins on Sunday 5th August from 10:00am to 11:30am at Russell's Meadow. It will also take place on the remaining Sundays in August.
 

6th July 2007 - Royals players collect awards

Several of the Royals' players were at the Magpies presentation night last night to receive trophies for the 2006-07 season.

Sam Green, Harvey Carless-Turland, Michael Brayne, Rory Smith, Tom Lewis, Joe Hearle, Luke Miles, Michael Weynberg and Dominic Robinson all received trophies for recognition of their playing during the past season.

Will Bourne, Simon Riley, Cameron Holtz, Craig Keugler and Jack Agnew were unable to attend.
 

4th July 2007 - Royals part company with the Magpies

The Royals have parted company with the Magpies and become a club in their own right, Church Stretton Royals Football Club. The news was released today after an amicable meeting the the Magpies' committee last night.

The team will continue to play their football in the South Shropshire Junior Football League U12s division and using the pitch adjacent to Church Stretton Town's pitch on Russell's Meadow.
