10th May 2009 - Royals defeated in
League Cup Final
Royals were defeated this afternoon by 3
goals to 1 by Meole Brace Juniors, in the
League Cup Final at Shrewsbury College of
Arts and Technology.
Meole went ahead through Carless-Turland,
before Grinker equalised for the Royals.
In the second half, Carless-Turland made
it 2-1 to Meole Brace before Royals again
thought they had equalised. This time
though, the goal was adjudged to have been
offside.
With time running out and Royals throwing
players up front, their opponents were able
to seal their victory with a third goal.

6th May 2009 - Annual General Meeting
and Presentation Evening
This year's AGM and presentation evening
will take place on Thursday 28th May at
7:30pm at the Long Mynd Hotel.
5th May 2009 - Royals get ready for
cup final
Royals hope to salvage something from the
season on Sunday when they meet Meole Brace
Juniors in the final of the League Cup. The
game takes place at Shrewsbury College of
Art and Technology (SCAT) with a 3pm kick
off.
It is not known at this stage what kits
will be worn, as both teams play in blue.
Royals are hopeful that they will have a
full squad available for selection.
